Hallowe'en already!
As the season changes, so does the garden! Coming into the autumn season, many plants reach the end of their growing season. Fall is an important time for final harvesting and preparing herbs to be used throughout the colder months. Right on our property, where we create our products, we have a drying shed where the herbs spend time after being harvested; then, once dried, we store them to be used all year round. One of the main uses is creating our tinctures and olive oil-infused bases for our skin-care products.
We fill large jars with our specialty herbal blends then top it with extra virgin olive oil These infuse in the sun for a month before being strained and used to create the magical base of many products.
This fall, take a moment to slow down and reconnect with nature, and enjoy a skincare routine inspired by the plants around us!
